• With new subscriptions or changes in billing plans, the new billing plan will apply from the day of application.
• Charges for Basic Plan are uniform regardless of the called party, region, and the time of day (Except for international communications and (Open this content in a new window)satellite and marine communications (in Japanese only), as well as Type Business and Type Business Value).
• Charges for Basic Plan are calculated in 30-second increments (Except for international communications, Type Business, and Type Business Value).
• Communications that begin in one month and end in the subsequent month will generally be billed for the month in which the communications ended. In such a case, the same is true for the application of a communications allowance and various communications charge discounts.
• The basic monthly charge (including communications allowance) will be calculated on a per-diem basis for the number of days used. In that case, the basic monthly charge will be rounded down to the nearest yen and the communications allowance rounded up to the nearest yen.
• When you change to Basic Plan, you are not eligible for a dual subscription to a land satellite telephone.
• Usage charges will be calculated applying the billing plan subscribed to as of the end of the communications.
• Communications allowances cover voice communications, digital communications (FOMA), packet communications(except for use of Pake-hodai double, Pake-hodai simple, Pake-hodai FLAT, Pake-hodai double 2), Short Message communications (FOMA), Short Mail communications (mova), and international communications. Unused communications allowances can be carried over for up to two months if the dialing and data communications charges in a month do not reach the communications allowance. Yu Yu Call, Family Discount, Ikkatsu Discount, and other dialing and data communications charge discount services can be also applied to the dialing and data communications charges that are applied to the communications allowance and Packet Pack monthly charge (=communications allowance). The communications allowances included in the basic monthly charges do not change even after discounts have been applied.
• Communications allowances included in the basic monthly charge do not cover the following charges: Global Pake-hodai communications charges, i-mode and other information charges, DCMX mini and docomo Mobile Payment Service charges, charges for collect calls (106), telegrams (115), directory assistance (104 inquiry charges), international calls provided by carriers other than DOCOMO, calls to numbers starting with 0570 or 0180, etc. However, up until November 30, 2010, communications allowances included in the basic monthly charges also cover Global Pake-hodai communications charges.

• Long-Term Subscriber Discount cannot be combined with New Ichinen Discount, Fami-wari MAX50, Hitoridemo Discount50, Business Discount50, Business Call Discount, or Office-wari MAX50.
• Discounts do not apply when changing to Basic Plan if subscribed to Don Don Call or Data Rate.
• Customers not currently subscribed to packet services with the previous mova billing plan who have applied to change to Basic Plan will be able to use packet communications other than those with i-mode from the time of application. In that case, communications charges of ¥0.315/packet apply for packet communications used.
• When a FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan and a Basic Plan are both used in the same month due to a change in billing plans, the packet communications allowance of the FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan (measured rate) applies to the FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan (measured rate) charges (or charges for packet communications not covered by the flat rate when using a flat-rate data plan). The Basic Plan communications allowance applies to usage under the Basic Plan. In such cases, the amounts of unused FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan (measured rate) packet communications allowances and unused Basic Plan communications allowances will not be appropriated to each other. Furthermore, only communications allowances applicable to the billing plan (FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan, Basic Plan, or previous FOMA billing plan) subscribed to at the end of the month will be carried over two months. Even if you apply for Family Discount, shared use with the Two-Month CarryOver will not apply.
• Type Limit, Type Limit Value, Family Wide Limit, and Family Wide Limit Value subscribers are not eligible to use the following services: Call Forwarding Service, Toll-Free Number Service, WORLD WING, WORLD CALL, Call Unit Display, some menus in (Various applications/procedures), Option Pack Discount, Volume Discount, Yu Yu Call bonus (communications allowance given to the called party), and 400 free packets under previous mova billing plans.
• Yu Yu Call (¥189/month) can be subscribed to along with a Basic Plan, but only the dialing charge discount applies, and the bonus (communications allowance given to the called party) does not apply. However, the bonus (communications allowance given to the called party) does apply when you receive an incoming call from a caller on a previous billing plan who has designated your number under the Yu Yu Call Discount.

• Basic Plans allows use of packet communications services by connecting to a PC, PDA, or other device for just the basic monthly charge. (Communications charges apply separately when used.) When using i-mode, a separate i-mode monthly charge is required.
• If you are subscribed to the Packet/Lite Plan for i-mode use with a previous mova billing plan and change to a Basic Plan, Packet/Lite Plan is automatically cancelled. When i-mode is used with Basic Plan, no basic monthly packet charge is required. i-mode can be used just with the basic monthly charge of the billing plan and i-mode monthly charge.
• Although dialing charges incurred while using mova service with the Dual Network Service are the same as when using FOMA service (except for FOMA Data Communications Billing Plans and FOMA Ubiquitous Plans), packet communications charges of ¥0.315/packet apply.
• The 400 free packets are not available when using Basic Plan with mova service.
• The 400 free packets provided to mova subscribers changing from a previous mova billing plan to Basic Plan will be calculated on a per diem basis for previous mova billing plan usage.
• If the transmission conditions are unstable, data transmission may be erroneously repeated. The packet communications charges apply to the repeated data transmissions, so be sure to check the transmission conditions to save on charges.

• A ¥1,050 handling fee will be applied each time from the third change to your billing plan in the same month.
• A handling fee of ¥2,100 will apply for change in subscription between FOMA and Xi "crossy".
