Notes on Use

The Hitoridemo Discount50 gives a discount on basic monthly charges on the condition that you promise to use the same line for two years.

Subscription period and cancellation charges

  • The Hitoridemo Discount50 subscription period is two years (24 months), starting the month after the month you apply (or starting the month of application if made the first of the month).
  • Hitoridemo Discount50 will be renewed automatically for another two years unless cancellation is requested.
  • New Ichinen Discount cancellation charge or Ichinen Discount cancellation charge does not apply for subscribers of those discounts who apply for Hitoridemo Discount50. However, the subscription periods for those discounts will not be carried over to Hitoridemo Discount50.
  • A cancellation charge of ¥9,975 will apply regardless of the length of use if you cancel the discount or if you cancel the line outside the month following that in which the Hitoridemo Discount50 subscription expires. (Cancellation charges will be charged even if you apply for New Ichinen Discount when you cancel Hitoridemo Discount50. Cancellation charges will not be charged if you apply for Hearty Discount when you cancel Hitoridemo Discount50.)
  • Hitoridemo Discount50 will be cancelled if you apply for Family Discount during the subscription period for Hitoridemo Discount50 and automatically renewed the following month as Fami-wari MAX50 (two-year subscription, ¥9,975 cancellation charge). The subscription period for cancelled Hitoridemo Discount50 will be carried over to Fami-wari MAX50 after the change in that case.
  • The Hitoridemo Discount50 subscription period will be carried over to the new subscription if you change between FOMA and mova services. (Cancellation charges do not apply.)

Applicable discount period

Discounts begin the day you apply for Hitoridemo Discount50. If the discount is cancelled, the discount applies to the month of discontinuation (billed following month).

When applying for the discount Takes effect from the day of application
When cancelling the discount Takes effect up to the month of cancellation
When cancelling the mobile phone service subscription Takes effect on a per diem basis up to the day before cancellation

How calculations are made

  • Communications allowances included in the basic monthly charges of your billing plan do not change after the discount is applied.
  • The discount amount for the basic monthly charge will be rounded to the nearest ¥10.
  • The discount will be calculated on a per diem basis and amounts ending in a figure less than ¥1 will be rounded off if you do any of the following during the month.
    • Cancel, restore, or transfer the line (when account is settled immediately)
    • Change between FOMA and mova services
    • Change the billing plan
  • This discount will be indicated on your bill each month as Fami-wari MAX50/Hitoridemo Discount50 (Fami-wari MAX50/Hitoridemo Discount50).
