The combination gives you a discount of up to 50% off basic monthly charges (after 10 years of use). On top of that, the communications allowance remains the same amount.

• New Ichinen Discount will automatically apply if you are subscribed to Ichinen Discount and change to a New Billing Plan (including Value Plans). (The Ichinen Discount subscription period and length of use will be carried over to New Ichinen Discount.)
• New Ichinen Discount will not automatically apply if you are not already subscribed to Ichinen Discount, regardless of your length of use. A separate application is required.
• If you are subscribed to Long-Term Subscriber Discount and sign up for New Ichinen Discount, the discount will be according to your length of use.
• If you change between FOMA and mova service subscriptions and continue to use New Ichinen Discount, the New Ichinen Discount subscription period will be carried over. (No cancellation charge applies.)

• The cancellation charge for New Ichinen Discount will be a uniform ¥3,000 (¥3,150 incl. tax) regardless of the length of FOMA or mova use.
• The discount will be renewed automatically unless cancellation is requested during the yearly two-month period starting from the month when New Ichinen Discount subscription reaches a full year until the month after. A uniform ¥3,000 (¥3,150 incl. tax) cancellation charge will apply regardless of length of use if you cancel New Ichinen Discount, cancel or suspend your FOMA or mova service, change to a FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan1 or outside this yearly two-month period. Even if length of use is over 10 years, the cancellation charge will still be required (The cancellation charge will not be required if New Ichinen Discount is cancelled at the same time of application for Hearty Discount, and no cancellation charge is applied when changing from the FOMA Data Communications Billing Plan 222).
• If DOCOMO changes the discount rate for New Ichinen Discount in the future, the cancellation charges may also change.

• 1 FOMA Data Plans described here indicate the Data Plan SS, Data Plan S Packet Plus, Data Plan M Packet Plus, Data Plan L Packet Plus, and Data Plan LL Packet Plus.
• 2 New applications for FOMA Data Plan 22 are no longer accepted as of May 31, 2005.

• Discounts begin the day you apply for New Ichinen Discount. If discontinued, the discount applies to the month of discontinuation (billed following month). If you cancel FOMA or mova service the month following that in which New Ichinen Discount subscription reaches a full year, the discount will apply up to charges for the previous month.

At subscription cancellation	Applies on a per diem basis to the day before cancellation.

• Length of use starts the month after the month a new subscription starts (or starting the same month if application is made the first of the month).
• The New Ichinen Discount subscription period is one year from the first day of the month following application (or from the day of application if made on the first of the month).
• With billing plans that include communications allowances, the communications allowance will not change after the basic monthly charge is discounted.
• Discount amounts are the billing plan basic monthly charges multiplied by applicable discount, and rounded to the nearest ¥10. If the following requests are made during the month, the discount amount will be calculated on a per diem basis rounded up to the nearest yen.
