A Xi "crossy" service subscriber can also purchase a handset specified by DOCOMO by installment payment.

Save on basic monthly charges
Value Plans with lower basic monthly charges than Basic Plans will apply for the Value Course. On top of that, the communications allowance remains the same!
Handsets can be purchased by installment payment
You can select DOCOMO installment payment or lump-sum payment (e.g. by cash or credit card) for the handset purchase cost. What's more, no installment payment handling fee is charged. (DOCOMO installment payment does not apply to some handset models.)
Basic Course

The Basic Course provides support for purchasing a handset. |
Agree to use the same handset for 24 months1 and get a ¥15,750 discount on the cost of the handset.- If you change handset models, cancel the line, store the phone number, or use that line as a B number under a 2in1 contract within the prescribed 24 months after purchasing an applicable handset model, a Basic Course cancellation charge of ¥630 multiplied by the number of remaining months will apply.
- 1 The first month refers to the period from the day of purchase to the end of the following month. If the day of purchase is the first day of a month, however, the first month refers to the end of that month.
