Communications allowance can be used entirely regardless of any discount

Won't be reduced even after discounts are applied to basic monthly charges.

Unused communications allowance can be carried over for two months

You can even carry over the unused allowance for two months.
With Family Discount, you can also share the unused communications allowance carried over for two months with other family members.

When you use i-mode, a basic monthly charge called the "i-mode monthly charge" and "packet communications charges" based on the volume of communications you have used will apply.
When you use information services on fee-based sites such as news and entertainment content services, additional "i-mode information charges" will apply.

[i-mode monthly charge] 315 yen/month + [packet communications charges] FOMA: 0.21 yen per packet*1 or mova: 0.315 yen per packet*2 + [i-mode information charges] (If applicable)

  • notice1 This is the charge for subscribers not using packet discount services (Packet Packs). Communications charges for Packet Pack users differ depending on the Packet Pack subscribed to. Furthermore, charges for packet communications in excess of a set total number of packets used each month will apply according to the Packet Pack you have subscribed to.
  • notice2 Packet communications charges when the total number of packets used each month exceeds 100,000 packets will be ¥0.21 per packet.

Packet communications charges will be incurred from when a connection is established and packet data is actually sent or received. The "on" state or the "blink" state of the communications mark on the screen indicates that packets are being sent or received.

Packet communications charges apply

When you are accessing the i-mode center, the communications mark blinks and packet communications charges apply.

noticeThe communications mark, i-mode icon, or displayed messages vary depending on the handset model.

Packet communications charges do not apply

When packet communications are in a "wait" state, the i-mode icon is on or blinking, and packet communications charges do not apply.

After a connection to the i-mode center is established, the handset will wait for a while until the next communications are initiated. During the wait state, the i-mode icon will be on or blink. Packet communications do not take place in this state so packet communications charges will not apply. Furthermore, to display the iMenu, packet data is being sent or received, but packet communications charges will not apply. When you access sites from iMenu, packet communications charges will apply for some sites.

noticeAmounts listed include consumption tax. Please note that for the actual bill the amount of the tax is calculated from the total of individual items excluding tax so the billing amount may differ from the total of individual items including tax.
