FOMA Packet Communications Charges
Communications charges per packet for the Packet Pack you subscribe for are determined by a progressive scale of usage in one billing month. The four segments on that scale are: Communications up to 150,000 packets, 150,001 to 600,000 packets, 600,001 to 2 million packets and more than 2 million packets.

Notes on use
- A ¥1,050 handling fee will be applied from the third change to your Packet Packs in one month (including cancellation and new application). With reservation for cancellation of Packet Packs (use to the end of the current month), the change will count as having been made on the first day of the following month.
- Packet Packs apply for packet communications after you sign up (or the designated day with reservations).
- Flat-rate monthly charges (communications allowances) will be calculated on a per diem basis if the following orders are made. In that case, the flat rate will be rounded down to the nearest yen and communications allowance rounded up to the nearest yen.
- Application for, changes to, or cancellation of Packet Packs
- Cancelling, restoring, relocating, or transferring the subscription for mobile phone service (when calculated immediately)
- Changing to FOMA Data Communications Billing Plans (Including FOMA Data Plan 22)
- Changing subscription to FOMA Ubiquitous Plan
- Volume Discount (old billing plans only), Family Discount, Yu Yu Call, Ikkatsu Discount, and Bulk Line Discount call and communications discounts also apply to communications covered by the Packet Pack flat rate monthly charges (communications allowances).
- Long-Term Subscriber Discount, New Ichinen Discount, Ichinen Discount, Family Discount, Business Discount, and Hearty Discount basic monthly charge discounts do not apply to Packet Pack flat rate monthly charges.
- Two-Month CarryOver applies to Packet Pack flat rate monthly charges (communications allowances).
Amounts listed include consumption tax. Please note that for the actual bill the amount of the tax is calculated from the total of individual items excluding tax so the billing amount may differ from the total of individual items including tax.
