Application Procedure

Applications can be made by PC, i-mode, or phone, or at docomo Shops.

You can apply by PC via My docomo (in Japanese only) from (Various applications/procedures). The required docomo ID and password can be easily issued, so even beginners can start using right away.

• To apply from a DOCOMO mobile phone, call 151 (toll free, in Japanese only) without an area code.

• The service is applicable on the date of application.
• Pake-hodai simple is a packet flat-rate service for use with Type Simple and Type Simple Value. Choose between the Type Simple or Type Simple Value billing plans.

• 'Apply from following month' is selected automatically.
• Pake-hodai simple is a packet flat-rate service for use with Type Simple and Type Simple Value.
  Changing to the Type Simple or Type Simple Value billing plan is required.

• The service is applicable on the date of application.
• Pake-hodai simple is a packet flat-rate service for use with Type Simple and Type Simple Value.
  Changing to the Type Simple or Type Simple Value billing plan is required.
• When you apply for Type Simple or Type Simple Value, your Pake-hodai double subscription will be changed to Pake-hodai simple.
  

If both Pake-hodai simple and Pake-hodai double are used in the same month, the flat rate of Pake-hodai double does not apply and the communications allowance is also not applicable.

• Select between 'Apply from 1st of current month'2 and 'Apply from following month'.
  

  2 If you have requested for the service to be backdated to start from the 1st of the current month, Pake-hodai double is considered to have been applied from the 1st of the current month and the packet communications charges are recalculated. In such a case, the current month's flat rate charge for Pake-hodai, Pake-hodai full, or Biz-hodai does not apply.
  Depending on the conditions of use, charges may become high compared with applying the service from the following month.

• Pake-hodai simple is a packet flat-rate service for use with Type Simple and Type Simple Value.
  Changing to the Type Simple or Type Simple Value billing plan is required.

• You can select the application start from the date of application or the following month.
  When selecting use from the date of application, the service will be applicable immediately after the application.
  When selecting use from the next month, the service will be applicable from the first day of the next month.
• Pake-hodai simple is a packet flat-rate service for use with Type Simple and Type Simple Value.
  Changing to the Type Simple or Type Simple Value billing plan is required.

• Apply for Pake-hodai double (and select use from the date of application [after application is complete])
• Apply for Type Simple or Type Simple Value (and select use from the date of application [after application is complete])

• Apply for Pake-hodai double (and select use from the next month)
• Apply for Type Simple or Type Simple Value (and select use from the next month)

Notes

If you want to apply via a PC or i-mode and are not currently using Pake-hodai double, first apply for Pake-hodai double and then apply to change your billing plan to Type Simple or Type Simple Value. When you apply for Type Simple or Type Simple Value, your Pake-hodai double subscription will be changed to Pake-hodai simple.
