FY2010 Highlights

The president of docomo.com, a Group company, introduces specific initiatives for creating pleasant, rewarding working conditions. An employee also provides commentary on balancing work and raising a child using the Working from Home program.

Employment and Compensation

Explains our basic approach to employment and employee compensation and reports on our efforts to maintain employee-friendly working environments. Also provides information on a new rehiring program for former employees who left due to a spouse transfer, etc., on initiatives to educate and train temporary employees and to manage their work schedules properly, and on hiring people of different nationalities and people with disabilities.

Professional Skill Development

Reports on employee skill development and manager training. Also introduces our awards program for employees making business contributions as well as our internal hiring program and In-House Venture System, initiatives that seek to discover and recruit especially ambitious employees.

Respecting Human Rights at the Workplace

Reports on systems and activities to raise awareness of human rights and our consultation desk for human rights issues.

Promoting Work-Life Balance

Reports on questionnaires, interviews and counseling conducted to provide mental health support for employees and efforts to prevent work-related accidents.

Communicating with Employees

Reports on visits made by management to listen to the thoughts and concerns of employees at frontline operations and introduces committees established to promote communication between labor and management.
