Mobile Phone Safety Program

To counter the social problem of mobile phones being used for crimes and other undesirable purposes, DOCOMO has been dispatching instructors to conduct Mobile Phone Safety Classes at schools nationwide and senior organizations since 2004. The classes enlighten audiences on the rules and manners of using mobile phones and how to respond to criminal activities or other such problems if encountered when using a mobile phone. |
Mobile Communication Fund
The Mobile Communication Fund is a nonprofit organization that contributes to society through numerous initiatives. Established in July 2002 to commemorate DOCOMO's tenth anniversary, the fund aids civic organizations involved with the education of children or social welfare activities rooted in communities. In addition to sponsoring scholarships for students from around Asia, it also confers the DOCOMO Mobile Science Award for outstanding research and dissertations relating to mobile communications technology.
