Status on share repurchase is described.

[Basic policy of share repurchase]
NTT DOCOMO management believes that returning profits to shareholders is one of the most important issues in corporate management. We plan to repurchase own shares flexibly by trying to strengthen our financial position and maintain an adequate level of internal reserve. We basically hold repurchased shares equivalent to approximately 5% of outstanding share and those shares which exceed 5% are all cancelled at the end of year.
