TOKYO, JAPAN, November 19, 2010 ---
The study examined customers’ satisfaction with their mobile phone operators based on five factors: customer contact, handsets, costs, call quality/area and non-voice functions/services. DOCOMO scored the highest in four of the five categories.
“We deeply appreciate that customers evaluate our mobile service so highly,” said President and CEO Ryuji Yamada. “The unsurpassed satisfaction of our customers is the result of many people’s dedicated efforts, including not only DOCOMO employees but also outside retailers, handset suppliers, network equipment suppliers and many other partners. We will continue to make every effort to exceed our customers’ expectations through highly satisfying mobile experiences.”
In the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2010 Japan Business Mobile Phone Service StudiesSM announced in September, DOCOMO received the highest marks among mobile operators in all four categories of this business-customer study.
