Why is Spam E-mail Delivered?

Spam e-mail is sent unsolicited to subscribers. DOCOMO is working day-in and day-out on countermeasures to protect subscribers from spam e-mail. However, spam e-mail continues to be sent in a vicious cycle due to the malicious tactics shown below.
If DOCOMO could judge the content of mail being sent to subscribers beforehand at the i-mode/sp-mode center, we could block spam e-mail from reaching you. But telecommunications operators are obligated to respect the confidentiality of communications, so we cannot check the content of mail. Therefore, we ask you to implement some measures you can take to prevent spam e-mail and use i-mode/sp-mode with peace of mind.
DOCOMO will continue to do its utmost to combat spam e-mail until it is completely eliminated.
