Missed Call Notification Service

This service notifies you of calls that could not be received1 because the power was off, phone was outside the service area, or you were talking on the phone2 via the Short Message Service (SMS).

On October 3, 2011, the name of this service was changed from "Turned Off or Out of Range Notification Call Service" to "Missed Call Notification Service". The service notifies of not only calls that could not be received because the power was off or phone was outside the service area but also of calls that could not be received because you were talking on the phone.

Get notifications of the calls missed when the power was off, phone was outside the service area, or you were talking on the phone

You are notified of call history including the phone numbers of callers and the dates and times of the incoming calls via Short Message Service (SMS).

Notifications received even if SMS reject function is set

You will receive notification SMS even if the Short Message Service (SMS) reject function is set.

1 SMS notifications are not received for calls that can be received during a call such as when Call Waiting has been started (calls that remain in missed call history).
2 Notifications are even received for calls missed while calls are being made or received.
The title of the notification SMS on some models is (voice mail [missed call notification]), but this service can be used free of charge even if you are not subscribed to Voice Mail Service.
Charges do not apply for receiving notification SMS.
This is set to "Notify" for all phone models. If you do not want to receive notifications, you can disable the notification function.
