This service allows calls to be received by simply dialing #xxxx (# plus a 4-digit number) from a DOCOMO mobile phone. This service offers two types: Nationwide Use, where any of the MAsnotice1 in Japan can be specified as Quick Number areas, and Regional Block Use, where Japan is divided into nine blocks and MAs in the corresponding region can be specified as the areas in which Quick Number calls can be made.

notice1 MA: Unit for charges areas (These areas generally correspond to prefectural boundaries. In Hokkaido, the Sapporo, Hakodate, Kitami, Kushiro, and Asahikawa regions can be specified.)
