FOMA HIGH-SPEED

FOMA HIGH-SPEED is a FOMA data communications service that provides fast data transfer rates.
High-speed packet communications at the maximum data rate of 7.2 Mbps for receiving (384 kbps for sending) are available if you are in a FOMA HIGH-SPEED area. Also, high-speed packet communications at the maximum data rate of 5.7 Mbps for sending are available in some spots (for example, around major stations within Tokyo's 23 wards). This service allows you to enjoy Music&Video Channel, Chaku-Uta Full®, 10 MB large i-motion, Full Browser, and large mail stress-free at faster data transfer rates.

• The data rate is the maximum value of the technical specification when sending and receiving and does not represent the actual data rate. Communications are provided on a best-effort basis. Actual data rates may differ depending on the communications environment and network congestion.
• The maximum data rates differ depending on the model.
• Areas compatible with the maximum data rate of 5.7 Mbps for sending are being expanded initially centering on the Tokyo metropolitan area.
• Even when you are inside a FOMA HIGH-SPEED area, the maximum speed for both sending and receiving may become 384 kbps depending on the location.
• The maximum data rate for both sending and receiving is 384 kbps when you are in a FOMA area that is not a FOMA HIGH-SPEED area.
• Some functions may not be available depending on the model.
