What’s PDF?
Created by Adobe Systems Incorporated, Adobe® PDF (Portable Document Format) has continuously evolved over the 10 years of its development to become an electronic document format that is trusted, highly safe and is accepted officially as a standardized format throughout the world.
About the Functions of i-mode Compatible PDF
In order to make possible the viewing of contents that weren’t conceivable in HTML such as zoom in and out functions, scalable fonts and the ability to display pages wider than the screen size, most of our recent terminals are equipped with a built-in a PDF compatible viewer (Adobe® Reader LE) suitable for mobile phones.
Besides, in order to match the needs of i-mode contents distribution, we have built on the past PDF functions and have added a number of original features, such as i-mode bookmarks etc. that enable us to offer i-mode contents that were not possible in past.
