What’s My Box Service?
|
The My Box service allows My Box content providers (hereinafter referred to as "My Box providers") to provide information personalized for individual My Box users (hereinafter referred to as "users"). My Box providers can send various information to users via Message R, deliver information via the i-concier service, and update i-schedule and ToruCa automatically. |

Content service menus can be displayed on the i-mode screen of specified users
My Box providers can display their service menus in My Box in the i-mode menu ("i-menu"→"My Box") of specified users. This enables the users to access the sites of the My Box providers from these menus.

A different screen may be displayed depending on the model.
Authenticating individual users and notifying My Box providers (user authentication function)
When My Box providers specify the users for which to display service menus, a unique user code can be set for each individual user. When users access the sites of My Box providers, the providers are notified of the unique user codes so that they can identify who accessed the sites and provide information customized to individual users. This allows users to access sites and receive information easily without having to enter an ID and password.

Messages can be sent to individual users (message send function)
Specifying user codes enables My Box providers to send Message R to users. This allows customized information to be sent to each individual user. In addition, there is no need to manage mail addresses or worry about the non-delivery of messages resulting from domain specification or changes to mail addresses. Click here for details on the message send function (in Japanese only).

Information can be delivered to users, and i-schedule and ToruCa can be updated automatically (i-concier function) [NEW]
Specifying user codes enables My Box providers to deliver i-concier information (in Japanese only) to users.

My Box providers can ensure i-schedule and ToruCa information downloaded once by users is always updated to the latest information by just sending i-schedule (in Japanese only) and ToruCa (in Japanese only) update requests.
