You can choose to have a Xi packet flat-rate service, Xi data communications plan, Pake-hodai Flat, Pake-hodai Double 2, Pake-hodai Double, or a flat-rate data plan (excluding 128K) take effect from the previous month, but only once per phone line subscription. (In such a case, the amount of packet communications made using Global Pake-hodai compatible operators will be recalculated with Global Pake-hodai application backdated to the previous month, and the difference will be refunded in the bill in the next month.) - Communications allowances included in billing plans and Packet Packs cannot be applied to Global Pake-hodai communications charges. Therefore, depending on the remaining communications allowances at the time of departure and the volume of packet communications you will use at your travel destination, there may be cases where it will be cheaper to use a network of an operator other than that of a compatible operator and apply communications allowances to charges.
- The communications volume of Global Pake-hodai packet communications will be calculated with 12:00 a.m. to 11:59:59 p.m. Japan time counted as one day. (Calculations will not be based on the local time of your travel destination.)
i-mode communications subject to Global Pake-hodai will be counted and calculated as usage of the day the connection is terminated.
For packet communications other than i-mode communications subject to Global Pake-hodai, the volume of packet communications is calculated in one-hour increments, starting from the time the connection is initiated and continuing until the same connection is terminated. When communications beginning before 12:00 a.m. continue past midnight to the next day, communications for the hour which includes 12:00 a.m. and later will be counted and calculated as packet communications of the following day.
- Compatible operators are subject to change without notice. Please be sure to check here for details.
