Making Videophone calls

To make a Videophone call, simply press the Videophone key after you dial the number.

●Dialing procedure

Start key > Videophone key Or press the button for Videophone on your handset screen.

  • noticeVideophone dialing procedures differ by handset model. Please check the user's manual for details.
  • noticeThe image of the other party displayed on the screen may be distorted or a connection may not be possible for a Videophone call depending on the handset model used by the other party.
  • noticeIt is necessary to configure the network settings according to the connection method you wish to use. Please see the user's manual, Mobile Phone User's Guide, or here (in Japanese only) for details on configuring settings while overseas.

You must be connected to a 3G network to use Videophone.Switch to the 3G network if the display shows GSM or GPRS.

IMPORTANT

●Even when settings have been configured to notify the caller's phone number, the correct phone number may not be displayed, and a notice indicating that the Caller ID is not available or blocked may be shown.

●Please note that if a service or function that restricts incoming calls is set in Japan, calls from overseas may not be received.
