[When traveling overseas]
Please be aware that the DOCOMO UIM Card (FOMA Card) in your phone may be able to be inserted overseas and used in handsets other than DOCOMO handsets, and cases have been reported of users being billed large charges as a result of their DOCOMO UIM Card (FOMA Card)s being used by third parties even overseas.
If your handset is lost or stolen, contact DOCOMO immediately from where you are even if the handset is a model that cannot be used overseas
. DOCOMO may restrict the use of your overseas handset if it is lost or stolen.
Even if your handset is a model that cannot be used overseas, your (removable) DOCOMO UIM Card(FOMA Card) can be used overseas by inserting it into a local mobile phone.
Set a PIN1 code (PIN access for your DOCOMO UIM Card(FOMA Card)) to prevent unauthorized use overseas.

If an overseas rental handset is lost, stolen, or damaged (including damage beyond repair and exposure to water), a replacement handset can be delivered.
