Send mail with attached images etc. (International MMS)

International MMS is a service for i-mode compatible mobile phones that enables i-mode users to exchange mail messages with MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) users abroad. FOMA users can also attach and send pictures, video clips, and music files.
Your 2in1 Service B number cannot be used.

File formats that can be sent and received depend on the i-mode service and the handset model. Recommended formats are jpeg for still images and 3gp for audio and video files.
If a file of over 300 KB is sent, the attached file will be deleted.
However, a file of over 300 KB can be sent depending on the file format (JPEG or GIF89a).
If an image file (JPEG or GIF89a) of over 300 KB is attached, the file will be automatically compressed when sent. In such a case, if the size is over 300 KB after compression, the attached file will be deleted.
It is not possible to send from sp-mode or i-mode.net.

1 Domestic packet flat-rate services and Mail Tsukai-hodai apply when sending/receiving from within Japan, and Global Pake-hodai applies when sending/receiving while abroad.
2 Packet communications charges for receiving will apply in the following cases.
- When receiving while overseas.
- Web operations when viewing "Web operations when viewing the Mail Check Site". (Packet communications charges for downloading mail in Japan are free of charge.)
- When receiving did not complete successfully.
Free communications allowances, such as those included in the basic monthly charge, apply to International MMS communications charges and packet communications charges. However, the communications allowances included in FOMA Data Communications Billing Plans will not apply.
Various discount services such as Mail Tsukai-hodai, Pake-hodai double and Flat-rate Data Plans will not apply to International MMS communications charges.
Packet communications charges for use overseas will apply according to the billing system at your destination.
Charges are non-taxable.
Users of billing plans with a limit function who are also subscribed to Pake-hodai double, Pake-hodai simple, Pake-hodai, Pake-hodai full, or Biz-hodai can continue to use International MMS during transmission suspension due to exceeding the limit. Please note that International MMS communications charges will be incurred as usual.
