Terms of Credit Card Payment
1. What is credit card payment?
Credit card payment is a payment of periodic charges payable to NTT DOCOMO, INC. (hereinafter referred to as DOCOMO) for services (including i-mode information and other charges billed by DOCOMO on behalf of third parties; hereinafter referred to as "periodic charges"). The payment is made by a subscriber for DOCOMO’s Xi, FOMA, mova, packet communications, satellite phone (excluding marine phone ), or other services by registering the designated credit card with DOCOMO in a DOCOMO prescribed manner and the payment is made according to the terms defined by the credit card issuing company (hereinafter referred to as the "card company").
DOCOMO will send the statement of periodic charges billed by the card company and other information to the billing address registered with DOCOMO. If the billing address is changed, please inform DOCOMO according to the terms of the DOCOMO subscription agreement.
2. Notes on credit card payment
The subscriber must continue to pay the periodic charges by the designated credit card unless DOCOMO is informed about a change to, or cancellation of, the credit card payment.
If the credit card number or expiration date of the designated credit card is changed, please inform the person at the service counter designated by DOCOMO or customer service center designated by DOCOMO without delay.
Even when the credit card number or expiration date is updated by the card company, the subscriber must continue to pay the periodic charges by the updated credit card.
If the subscriber is disqualified from membership according to the terms of the card company, credit card payment will be cancelled and DOCOMO may bill the subscriber directly.
Even when the credit card cannot be used as a result of the subscriber being disqualified from membership according to the terms of the card company or the credit card agreement being terminated, DOCOMO may bill the periodic charges, through the card company, for the month after the month in which DOCOMO is informed by the card company.
If credit card payment is not approved according to the terms of the card company, DOCOMO may bill the subscriber directly.
If credit card payment is cancelled by the card company after the payment is approved, regardless of the reason, credit card payment will be cancelled and DOCOMO may bill the subscriber directly.
