International Roaming Service
NTT DOCOMO provides international roaming service that you can use all over Japan while traveling in Japan.
Roaming with your own handset
If your mobile phone operator has a roaming agreement with NTT DOCOMO, simply turn your phone on upon your arrival in Japan, choose "DOCOMO" from the mobile phone operator selection screen and start roaming.
Rent a handset
Even if you don't have a roaming-compatible handset, you can still enjoy roaming in Japan. Please proceed to application in the airport with your SIM Card after arriving in Japan. When you have received the handset, just insert your SIM Card and switch on your mobile phone.
Mobile Phone Rental Service
If you wish to use a mobile phone temporarily for just a short period of time such as when at an event or on a business trip, use a rental mobile phone of DOCOMO Business Net.
