If You Forget Your PIN

Bring your mobile phone (FOMA handset/FOMA Card/mova phone) and documents such as a Japanese driver’s license that verify your identity as the subscriber to a docomo Shop. The shop will restore the phone to its default settings and change your PIN to a new number.

About PINs and Passwords

PINs and passwords vary depending on the phone features you use. Please confirm them when using specific services or functions.

Network PIN

Used when changing settings for optional network services.

Handset PIN

Used when configuring or disabling various functions on your mobile phone.

i-mode Password

Used when configuring i-mode function settings.

PIN1 and PIN2 Codes / PIN Lock Disable Code

Used to disable a PIN code lock when using a FOMA handset (or FOMA Card).

docomo ID / Password

A docomo ID is required to verify subscriber identity when using various services for PCs provided by DOCOMO (such as My docomo) and sites supporting login with a docomo ID and sending to mobile phones with a docomo ID.
