Before Submitting Your Handset for Repairs
Confirming the Warranty Period
A warranty is included when you purchase a mobile phone. This warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase written on the warranty. Please retain the warranty as you may be asked to present it when requesting repairs.

Inside the warranty period
- Repairs will be performed free of charge in accordance with the terms of the warranty.
1 - Charges will apply in the following cases even during the warranty period.
The warranty is not presented.
The malfunction was caused by water exposure, damage, or modifications (repairs may not be possible in some cases).
The date of purchase and the name of the shop where the product was purchased have not been filled in on the warranty or the wording of the warranty has been altered.

The malfunction or damage was caused by incorrect use, or unauthorized repairs or modifications.
The malfunction or damage was caused by, for example, dropping, water intrusion, or application of pressure from the outside, or damage or deformation of a board inside the product after the time of purchase.
The malfunction or damage was caused by a fire, environmental pollution, abnormal voltage, earthquake, lightning, wind and flood, or other natural disaster.
The malfunction or damage was caused by connecting a device or consumable part other than one designated by DOCOMO to the product.
Replacement of worn accessories, etc.
The malfunction or damage was caused by using a battery pack or charger other than one designated by DOCOMO.
The water exposure sticker of the product has reacted or corrosion caused by, for example, water exposure or condensation is found.

Warranty period for accessories (AC adapter)
The warranty period for accessories (AC adapter) is the same as that for the handset and extends for a period of one year from the time of purchase.

1 DOCOMO may decide that it is necessary to replace instead of repair your handset, but please note that the warranty period will not be extended in such a case.
2 If the necessary items such as the name of the shop and the date of purchase have not been filled in, contact the place of purchase immediately.
