This update fixes the following issue:

• Notification of location information determined by positioning with GPS may be possible when using i-αppli other than i-αppli DX.

• In addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
• All issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

In standby, press the "MENU" button then select "8. Settings & NW services" → "7. Other" → "5. Software update". Follow the instructions on the screen.

• Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
• Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
• Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
  • When the phone’s time and date are not set
  • During calls
  • During communications, etc.
• Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
