Please use your mobile phone’s software update function to update to the latest software. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you performed the software update during the period from January 16 to February 5, please perform the software update again.

This update fixes the following issue:

• If new mail is received from another mobile phone via infrared or other communications while received mail is stored on the L-01A mobile phone, the order in which read messages are deleted may not be from the oldest date.
• If the screen for selecting Deco-mail Pictograms is displayed while mail is being created, the mobile phone may freeze.
• When the mobile phone tries to receive Message R that satisfy certain conditions, the mobile phone restarts.

• In addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
• All issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

In standby, display "Menu" and select "Settings" → "Others" → "Software update", then follow the instructions on the screen.

• Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
• Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
• Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
  • When the phone’s time and date are not set
  • During calls
  • During communications, etc.
• Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
