This update fixes the following issue:

• Machi-Chara that has never been set may become unable to be set.
• The standby screen may be redisplayed when an attempt is made to open mail in the Inbox/Outbox folders.
• If the screen mode is switched from normal screen mode to full screen mode during streaming playback of a large volume i-motion1, the handset restarts.

• 1 Up to 10 MB content that cannot be saved to the handset.
• In addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
• All issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

In standby, display "Menu" and select "Settings/Service" → "Other settings" → "Software Update", then follow the instructions on the screen.

• Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
• Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
• Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
  • When the phone’s time and date are not set
  • During calls
  • During communications, etc.
• Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
