This update fixes the following issue:

• Vertical or horizontal lines may appear on the screen when using the camera function (taking still pictures, taking movies, character reader, bar code reader, card reader).

• In addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
• All issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

Updates can also be made as desired by performing the operation below and following the instructions on the screen.
In standby, press the Multi-guide key to display "Menu" then select "Settings" → "General settings" → "8. Software update".

• Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
• Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
• Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
  • When the phone’s time and date are not set
  • During calls
  • During communications, etc.
• Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
