Details of improvements

This update fixes the following issue:

  • One-Seg broadcasts may no longer be viewable with certain stations.
    The following phenomena may occur in that case.
  • 1When launching One-Seg subsequently, a message is displayed stating that you cannot receive, and One-Seg cannot be viewed.
  • 2Afterimages of viewed broadcasts are visible in preinstalled images.
  • 3The camera does not launch.
  • 4The handset restarts.
  • 5The ringback tone is not emitted when making calls. The ring tone is not emitted when receiving calls.
  • Even if you have set holidays in the schedule and turned off alarms for holidays, the alarm may still sound.
  • Roman numerals and special characters sent in mail may not display properly.
  • noticeIn addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
  • noticeAll issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

How to Update your Software

New software is automatically downloaded and overwrites the existing software at a preset time (default time is 3 a.m.).
Updates can also be made as desired by conducting the operation below and following the instructions on the screen.
In standby, press the "Menu" button then select "Settings" → "Management" → "SW Update".

Notes

  • Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
  • Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
  • Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
    • noticeWhen the phone’s time and date are not set
    • noticeDuring calls
    • noticeDuring communications, etc.
  • Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
