Details of improvements

This update fixes the following issues:

  • The error message "AppError 200" may be displayed and the device may freeze.
  • Duplicate entries may be registered for a single added address book entry.
  • This update fixes the issue whereby the Application Switcher is not displayed when pressing and holding the Menu key.
  • This update fixes the issue whereby display performance is lacking for Japanese language maps.
  • noticeIn addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
  • noticeAll issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

How to Update your Software

Select the Wireless Update icon on the Home screen, and follow the onscreen instructions to update. Updates can also be made by performing the operation below. Press the Menu key then select "Options" → "Advanced Options" → "Wireless Update" → "Next" → "Check for Updates".

Notes

  • Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
  • Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
  • Other functions are not available while software is being updated.
  • Updates of the software can be done while keeping Phonebook entries, camera images, downloaded data, and other data saved on the device intact. However, please note that in some cases data cannot be protected depending on the condition of your mobile phone (malfunction, damage, water exposure, etc.). We recommend that you back up necessary data.
