This update fixes the following issue:

• If a signature containing Deco-mail Pictogram is set, a multi-function key is selected during the creation of new mail, and then the mail key is pressed and the function for creating new mail is performed, the power may be reset.
• Calls and communications may not have been possible in some regions overseas because of the characteristics of the regions, but the quality has been enhanced to improve the usability of the service.

• In addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
• All issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

New software is automatically downloaded and overwrites the existing software at a preset time (default time is 3 a.m.).
Updates can also be made as desired by performing the operation below and following the instructions on the screen.
In standby, press the "MENU" button then select "Settings" → "Other settings" → "Software Update".

• Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates.
• Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
• Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
  • When the phone’s time and date are not set
  • During calls
  • During communications, etc.
• Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
