This update fixes the following issues:

• When a certain operation is performed, i-motion may no longer be able to be played.
• The mobile phone may switch to the outside service area state even if it is inside the service area when used overseas (GSM area).

• In addition to solving the issue above, updates also includes other enhancements to make better use of your mobile phone.
• All issues to date will be fixed by performing the latest software update.

New software is automatically downloaded and overwrites the existing software at a preset time (default time is 3 a.m.).
Updates can also be made as desired by performing the operation below and following the instructions on the screen.
In standby, display "Menu" and select "SET./SERVICE" → "Other settings" → "Software update".

• Please make sure that the mobile phone battery is fully charged when performing software updates. Otherwise, the update may not be successful.
• Also note that you should never remove the battery pack while updating software, as it will cause the phone to malfunction.
• Software cannot be updated in the following cases:
  • When the phone’s time and date are not set
  • During calls
  • During communications, etc.
• Other functions are not available while software is being updated, though voice calls can be answered while downloading.
