CSR Mid-Term Target

The CSR Mid-Term Target outlines the goals to be attained by 2020 toward realizing "a society in which people can live with security, safety, comfort and affluence," a goal stated in DOCOMO's CSR

Identification of Material Issues

Toward setting the goals, material issues were first identified. We identified 30 Sustainability Priorities based on due consideration of GRI and other guidelines, an external assessment of ESG aspects and new social requirements such as the SDGs. We assigned priorities to the 30 Sustainability Priorities based on the two axes of relevance to stakeholders and relevance to the NTT DOCOMO Group to identify "Eight Sustainability Focuses".

  • We have changed the KPI for the 2020 fiscal year to 37% from 60% in the 2019 fiscal year in accordance with the change in targets established by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

We will strive to achieve CSR Mid-Term Targets and KPIs for 2020, by working on the Eight Sustainability Focuses including Innovative docomo and Responsible docomo. Beyond 2020, we will set new "Value-creation domains" and contribute to the Sustainable development goals.
