NTT Group to Participate in ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003

Four NTT Group companies, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation,
NTT Communications Corporation, NTT DoCoMo, Inc. and NTT-ME Corporation, will participate in ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003 to be held at the Palexpo exhibition center in Geneva, Switzerland, from Sunday October 12 to Saturday October 18. The main theme of the NTT Group exhibition is "NTT Group - Resonates the World." Through this exhibition, the first to be held in the 21st century, the NTT Group plans to showcase its new visions and practical solutions for the Broadband Ubiquitous era.

The NTT Group's stand at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003 will feature next-generation network architecture based on optics, fixed/mobile linked services, optical network technologies, cutting-edge IP services, global IP solutions, mobile multimedia and 3rd-generation (3G) mobile communications services, all capable of realizing a resonant communications environment that is opening the way to the Broadband Ubiquitous era.
Highlights include:

Next-generation network architecture and optical technologies being developed and made commercially viable with the aim of realizing a resonant communications environment.
Global IP solutions offered under the NTT/VERIO brand and the development of world-first IPv6 services.
Efforts aimed at realizing a ubiquitous network society and NTT DoCoMo's , launched as the world's first 3G mobile service based on W-CDMA, and , the world's most popular mobile internet service.
The ME Global WAVE product line featuring the world's most advanced technology.

Along with the Exhibition, representatives from the NTT Group given in Attachment 2, "NTT Group's Participants in the Forum at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003," will be participating in the ITU TELECOM WORLD 2003 Forum being held at the conference venue inside Palexpo.
