NTT DoCoMo to Terminate CITYPHONE Service

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 27, 2007 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. and its regional subsidiaries NTT DoCoMo Tokai, Inc. and NTT DoCoMo Kansai, Inc. today announced that they will terminate CITYPHONE™, a 1.5GHz digital mobile service offered primarily for use within specific urban areas including Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, on June 30, 2008.

DoCoMo will inform CITYPHONE subscribers of details and related information about the termination and introduce alternative services, such as the popular FOMA™ 3G mobile service, via postal mail and other means.

DoCoMo stopped accepting new applications for the service on September 30, 2004.
