DOCOMO to Reorganize Business Structure
—Changes expected to help achieve medium-term targets—

TOKYO, JAPAN, May 15, 2015 --- NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced today that it will reorganize its business structure, including establishing a number of new business units, as part of an overall initiative to achieve its medium-term targets. The new structure and units are expected to strengthen DOCOMO's competitiveness in mobile communications businesses, drive further growth in smart-life businesses and create business opportunities for corporate customers. The organizational changes will take effect on July 1.

Sales and Marketing Division (new)
  • Develop strategies for mobile communications businesses that produce steady revenues.
  • Drive consumer-targeted sales promotions.
  Strategic Marketing Department
  • Plan and develop strategic business and marketing schemes in mobile communications businesses.
  Sales Promotion Department
  • Promote sales of mobile services and devices.
  • Manage dealerships and develop sales plans for dealers.
  • Pitch business in Kanto and Koshin'etsu regions of central-eastern Japan.
  Frontline Support Department
  • Plan and manage support for frontline assistance to customers.
  • Plan systems and processes for subscriptions to mobile phones, etc.
  Billing Service Department
  • Plan systems and processes for billing services.
Corporate Sales and Marketing Division
  • Plan business strategies for corporate sales.
