Recovery Notice: NTT DOCOMO's Mobile Network and Optical Communication Lines Resume Normal Operation in Most Areas Following Typhoon Hagibis

NTT DOCOMO is pleased to announce that its core mobile phone service has been restored and is now operating normally in the areas affected by Typhoon Hagibis as of 01:43 p.m. JST, Friday, October 18.
Since the storm, DOCOMO has been providing services in flooded areas by means of temporary facilities, such as mobile base station cars, mobile power supply cars and electric generators. Some services in certain areas, however, may not yet be available.
DOCOMO apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the service disruption and sincerely appreciates everyone's patience and understanding as the company works to fully restore all services.
