Protection for your iPad

AppleCare+ for iPad extends repair coverage and technical support to two years from the original purchase date of your iPad.
And it adds coverage for two incidents of accidental damage from handling, each subject to a service fee of ¥4,400 (incl. tax) for iPad, and ¥3,400 (excl. tax) for Apple Pencil.*1 You can preferentially contact an Apple expert by either chat or phone.

  • Service coverage is available only for iPad, its original included accessories, one compatible Apple Pencil, and one compatible Apple-branded iPad keyboard used with your iPad for protection against (i) defects in materials or workmanship, (ii) batteries that retain less than 80 percent of their original capacity, and (iii) up to two incidents of accidental damage from handling of your iPad, Apple Pencil, and Apple-branded iPad keyboard, each incident being subject to a service fee of ¥4,400 (incl. tax) for iPad and ¥3,400 for Apple Pencil or Apple-branded iPad keyboard, plus applicable tax. The replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may be new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability.

  • Applications for AppleCare+ for iPad through payment of a monthly charge are only accepted at the same time as you purchase an iPad.
  • Some shops cannot handle applications for AppleCare+ for iPad.
  • If you cancel your Xi subscription or 5G subscription or apply to retain your phone number, AppleCare+ for iPad will be automatically cancelled.
  • Lump-sum payment is not accepted.
  • If you subscribe to this service at a DOCOMO retail store, Mobile Device Protection & Delivery Service, Mobile Device Protection Service, and Mobile Device Protection Service for iPhone & iPad will be terminated automatically.

  • You must purchase AppleCare+ for iPad through lump-sum payment within 30 days of purchasing the iPad to be warrantied.
  • AppleCare+ for iPad through lump-sum payment is only available from the Apple Store.
  • The date that you purchased your iPad and malfunction or damage to your iPad at time of purchasing AppleCare+ for iPad will be confirmed.
  • Monthly payment is not accepted.
