sp-mode Password

sp-mode password is the 4-digit number to use when setting your mail address, using sp-mode Content Payment Service, etc.

Services which Require sp-mode Password

You are required to enter your sp-mode password when using the services or performing the operations below.

  • Changing your mail address
  • Mail rejection
  • Suspending mail functions
  • When using sp-mode Content Payment Service

Refer to Issuing and Changing Your PIN, ID, or Password (in Japanese only) for confirming the list of PIN required for using services and how to issue, change, and unlock the PIN.

If You Forget Your sp-mode Password or the Lock Is Activated

The following methods can be used to reset the sp-mode password to the default setting of [0][0][0][0].

If the lock is activated, it will be disabled automatically at 0:00 a.m. on the following day. You can disable the lock yourself by resetting the sp-mode password as below.

  • If an incorrect PIN is entered a certain number of times, your PIN is locked from the perspective of security.

  • When accessing from a PC, a d ACCOUNT is required.
  • When accessing from a smartphone or docomo Feature Phone (sp-mode), a Network PIN is required.
  • Operation procedures on the actual screens are in Japanese.

How to Change Your sp-mode Password

The sp-mode password setting at the time of purchase is [0][0][0][0].
You can change your sp-mode Password from dmenu → My docomo → (Setting [mail, etc.]) → (sp-mode password [Change]).
Network PIN is required to verify your identity.
