If you often make calls to people outside of your family, you can select the Kake-hodai Option for free domestic calls, or the 5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option for free domestic calls of up to 5 minutes in length.

Applying for voice options online (in Japanese only)

1. The flat-rate service does not apply and additional charges are incurred for calls sending and receiving overseas, WORLD CALL, SMS, the connection services of other companies such as 0570 and 0180, Special Numbers 188 toll free calls, 104 directory assistance fees, satellite phones/satellite marine phones, telephone numbers designated by DOCOMO (telephone numbers for connections for long periods or high volumes of communication for a certain continued period through mechanical calls, etc.), etc.
2. The flat rate applies to all calls under 5 minutes regardless of the number of calls. However, calls longer than 5 minutes will incur a charge of ¥22 (incl. tax) for every 30 seconds in excess of 5 minutes.

Voice Option Flat Rate Discount (Voicemail/Call Waiting Service)

If you have a subscription to "Kake-hodai Option" or "5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option" and also sign up for either or both Voicemail/Call Waiting Services within the same month, we will offer a discount on the monthly fee for either or both of these services.

• If you subscribe to or cancel Voicemail or Call Waiting Service partway through the month, the discount amount will be prorated based on the number of service usage days.

Minna DOCOMO Wari

You can receive a discount of up to ¥1,100 (incl. tax) from a monthly charge per line based on the number of voice lines in the same Family Discount group.

• Lines subscribed to billing plans that allow voice calls (excluding 2in1, Kids Keitai Plus, Kids Keitai Plan) within the same Family Discount group are counted.

docomo Hikari set discount / home 5G set discount

When there is a line in your Family Discount group that is subscribed to docomo Hikari or home 5G, you will receive a discount of ¥1,100 (incl. tax) from your monthly charge for eximo indefinitely.

• If both "docomo Hikari" and "home 5G Plan" exist within the same "Family Discount" group, "docomo Hikari set discount" will be applied. If both "docomo Hikari Mini" and "home 5G Plan" exist, "home 5G Set Wari" will be applied. When the monthly charge is calculated on a daily basis, the discount amount will also be prorated.

d CARD Oshiharai Wari

If you select d CARD/d CARD GOLD (including Family CARD) as the payment method at the end of the usage month, receive a discount of ¥187 (incl. tax) on your monthly charge for eximo.

You can apply at a docomo Shop/d garden near your current location. Business hours differ depending on the shop. Please see the page of the corresponding shop for details.

You are required to make a Shop Appointment to perform procedures at a docomo Shop/d garden. If you visit a shop without an appointment, you may be asked to return with an appointment for another day.

About eximo

• "eximo" is a billing plan that requires a "sp-mode" subscription. The listed monthly fee includes the usage fee for "sp-mode" (¥330 (incl. tax)/month). If we confirm that there is no existing "sp-mode" contract upon receiving the application, the application itself will be considered as a request, and "sp-mode" will be automatically subscribed. ISP services other than "sp-mode" cannot be used.
• "eximo" is not eligible for "Hajimete Sumaho Wari," "Oshaberi Wari," "docomo with," "U25 Ouen Discount," and "e-billing Discount." If you change a line with existing discounts to "eximo," the previous discounts will be canceled.
• If you sign new contracts or make immediate changes to the billing plan, the new billing plan will be applied from the day of application.
• For customers with a billing plan for 4G compatible smartphones (Gigaho Premier, Gigalight, etc.) who wish to apply for the new "eximo" plan online, it is necessary to apply for a plan change and SIM card issuance through docomo Online Shop (with no handling fee). Furthermore, customers will need to perform the activation procedures to switch to the new plan after receiving the SIM card.
• "eximo" is a 5G contract billing plan and requires the use of a compatible device. Any 5G device purchased from DOCOMO is eligible. If you are using a device not purchased from DOCOMO, please check that the frequency band implemented in the device matches the frequency band provided by DOCOMO.
  If you are using a 4G device, please check The 4G Compatible Devices List (PDF format: 328KB) (in Japanese only) to ensure that your device is supported.
• For the response to a case where the phone is unable to connect with an out-of-range display after changing to this billing plan, please refer to "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Unable to connect due to an out-of-range display after changing the plan to eximo." (in Japanese only)
• You can subscribe to "Speed Mode" with this billing plan. Please note that if you have subscribed to "Speed Mode" before switching to this billing plan and do not wish to continue the subscription, you will need to cancel "Speed Mode" on your own.
• Monthly charges for billing plans and voice options are not calculated on a daily basis regardless of the number of days used. However, if you apply at the time of a new subscription (including MNP), the billing for the month you apply will be prorated. (Please note that even if you apply at the time of a new subscription (including MNP), if any changes/cancellations/discontinuations are made within the same month, excluding changes or discontinuations made with end-of-month reservations, proration will not be based on a daily basis.) If the proration is applied, the discount amount for "Kake-hodai Option (¥1,800)," "5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option (¥800)," "Minna Docomo Wari," "d CARD Oshiharai Warim," and "Business Members Discount" will also be calculated on a daily basis. If you apply to a new subscription (including MNP) and "eximo" simultaneously, and change to "ahamo billing plan" within the same month, we will calculate the monthly fee for "eximo" and the voice options on a daily basis starting from the commencement date of the new subscription (including MNP).
• When 5G services are completely unavailable for more than 24 hours from the time DOCOMO acknowledges the situation, and it is caused by reasons beyond the subscriber's control, we will not charge the corresponding fee for basic and voice option usage.
• The monthly charge for the ISP service will be prorated based on the number of days used. For customers who are not currently subscribed to the ISP service and wish to apply for a change to "eximo," it is necessary to subscribe the ISP service in the month of application. However, no charges will be incurred until the following month. (If there is any communication using the ISP service in the application month, we will bill for the data usage based on the billing plan of the application month.)
• For all plans, the unused data amount is not carried over to the following month.
• "eximo" is eligible for "Hearty Discount." The discount amount will be ¥1,507 (incl. tax) which includes the discount for the ISP service (sp-mode). If you have subscriptions to both the Kake-hodai Option (¥1,800) and the 5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option (¥800), you will receive an ¥880 (incl. tax) discount on the voice option. (If you have a subscription to either the Kake-hodai Option or the 5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option, you will receive a ¥770 (incl. tax) discount on the voice option.) For customers with "Hearty Discount" subscription, "d CARD Oshiharai Wari," "Minna DOCOMO Wari," "Zutto Hajimete Sumaho Warim" and "Oshaberi Wari" are not applicable.
• "eximo" is eligible for "Kosodate Support Waribiki." The discount amount will be ¥1,100 (incl. tax). If you have subscriptions for both the Kake-hodai Option (¥1,800) and the 5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option (¥800), you will receive an ¥880 (incl. tax) discount on the voice option. (If you have a subscription to either the Kake-hodai Option or the 5hun-tsuwa-muryo Option, you will receive a ¥770 (incl. tax) discount on the voice option.) For customers with "Kosodate Support Waribiki" subscription, "Minna DOCOMO Wari," "Zutto Hajimete Sumaho Wari," and "Oshaberi Wari" are not applicable.
• During international roaming, the SMS sending charge is ¥100 per message. SMS messages can contain up to 70 characters in all cases.
  
  • Consumption tax is not added.
• The call charges to satellite vessels will be ¥55 (incl. tax) per 30 seconds.
• Once per the subscribed line, the packet and data communication charges can be recalculated, starting from the 1st of the month preceding the application date. If you wish to apply for this, please contact your nearest docomo Shop or docomo Information Center.
  
  • The procedure cannot be applied to the lines with a previous recalculation history.
• Once per the subscribed line (including cases where Kake-hodai Option was previously subscribed), the call charges can be recalculated according to our method, starting from either the 1st of the month before the month of application or the 1st of the previous month. If you wish to apply for this, please contact your nearest docomo Shop or docomo Information Center.
  
  • The procedure cannot be applied to the lines with a previous recalculation history.
• Network congestion may make communication slower or more difficult to establish. Customers with particularly high data usage in the last three days, including the current day, may experience slower communication than other customers. In addition, in case of excessive data usage within a certain period or a single connection, prolonged connection, or continuous connection within a specific duration, the communication may be interrupted.
• If transmission by automated processes, such as prolonged voice call or excessive data communications within a single voice call or data connections, as well as frequent voice calls or data connection within a certain period, are determined to have adverse effects on our facilities, we may disconnect the voice call or limit the data communication speed.
• We may temporarily suspend a line involved in mass communication or similar activities which have an impact on our facilities.
• In cases where DOCOMO determines that a significant amount of data communication through certain content or apps is having an impact on our facilities, we may limit the data communication speed for the use of that particular content or app.

• With regards to billing statements, if the subscriber (or the representative line subscriber of the single billing group subscription) of "eximo" wishes to receive them in writing, there will be a document issuance fee of ¥110 (incl. tax) per bill for those paying by automatic bank transfer or credit card, and ¥165 (incl. tax) per bill for those paying by invoice (excluding customers exempt from invoice issuance charge).
• "ISP Set Wari" does not apply to "eximo."
• "eximo" is not covered by the "Data Volume Notification Service."
• DOCOMO reserves the right to discontinue part or all of the billing plans. In such cases, we will notify the subscribers by posting the updates on our website. If the entire billing plan is discontinued, the subscription will be automatically terminated as of that point.
• In the event that DOCOMO discontinues the entire billing plan in accordance with the preceding provisions, we will notify the subscribers regarding the date of discontinuation, and other relevant details. DOCOMO shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by the subscriber due to the discontinuation of part or all of the billing plans.
