Monthly Charges

Here are the charges for Kids Keitai KY-41C Kids Keitai SH-03M users.

1. Family indicates within the same Family Discount group.
2. Unlimited data for sending and receiving text messages, stamps, photos, and videos using +Message (for Kids Keitai KY-41C Kids Keitai SH-03M users only).
3. Viewing browsers and other services are not available on Kids Keitai devices.
4. Consumption tax is not added to international SMS messages.
5. Billing fee will be charged (¥165/bill).

Conditions for Applying

The service is available only if the user is 12 years old or younger (only one line can be applied for per child under 12 years old). Even if the age of the user exceeds 12 years after the application, the user may continue to use the service.

• When applying at a docomo Shop/d garden, in addition to documents required for applying a new subscription, the user's identification documents such as the Japanese Health Insurance Certificate and the passport (copies accepted) will be required for Registering User Information and verifying the user's legal parent or guardian.

Application Procedures

To subscribe to the Kids Keitai Plan (for KY-41C), you must be a Kids Keitai KY-41C user. If you do not purchase a KY-41C model when applying for the Kids Keitai Plan (for KY-41C), you may apply for this plan only if we confirm that you are currently using a KY-41C model.

Please read the following before applying for Kids Keitai Plan (for KY-41C).

• Kids Keitai SH-03M is available from late August 2023.

• About billing plan in general

  • For Gigaho, Gigalight, Keitai Plan, Data Plus, or Kids Keitai applied for on or after Tuesday, October 1, 2019, will appear on your bill as Gigaho 2, Gigalight 2, Keitai Plan 2, Data Plus 2 Gigalight 2, Keitai Plan 2, Data Plus 2, Kids Keitai 2, and Kids Keitai 3.
  • Gigaho, Gigalight, Keitai Plan, Data Plus, or Kids Keitai (hereinafter referred to as Billing Plans (Gigaho, etc.)) are not eligible for various discount services such as Monthly Support, Device Purchase Support, docomo with, docomo Student Discount (ended May 31, 2019), e-billing Discount, or U25 Ouen Discount. Discounts will not be applied when switching to Billing Plans (Gigaho, etc.) that are already covered by a discount. Also, if switching to Billing Plans (Gigaho, etc.) during the Device Purchase Support period, the stated cancellation fees will apply.
  • If you newly subscribe or make immediate changes to the billing plan, the new billing plan will be applied from the day of application.
  • Monthly charges for billing plans and voice options are not calculated on a daily basis regardless of the number of days used. However, the monthly charge for the month of the application will be calculated on a per diem basis only if applying for the service along with a new subscription (including MNP).(Even applying for the service along with a new subscription (including MNP), if the subscription is changed, canceled, or terminated during the same month (except in the case of a change or termination at the end of the month appointment), the per diem basis will not be applied.)If a per diem basis is applied, the monthly charge for Gigalight Plan will be calculated on a per diem basis according to the step of a new subscription month (including MNP).
  • Regarding monthly billing statements, subscribers to Billing Plans [Gigaho, etc.] (or representative line subscribers of the billing group under the Billing Plan when subscribing to the single billing service) who wish to receive a statement by mail will be charged a fee of ¥110 (incl. tax) per bill for those who pay by bank transfer or credit card. In addition, there is an issuance fee of ¥165 (incl. tax) per bill for those who pay by billing statement.
    • Kids Keitai Plan 2 is not subject to billing fees.
  • Domestic calling charges cost ¥22 (incl. tax) every 30 seconds.
  • The charge for sending SMS while roaming internationally is ¥100 per SMS. Maximum text length is up to 70 characters. Consumption tax is not added.
  • Call charges to satellite ships cost ¥55 (incl. tax) every 30 seconds.
  • When subscribing to Family Discount or Business Call Discount, domestic calls to members of the Family Discount or Business Call Discount group are free under the Billing Plans (Gigaho, etc.) (except Data Plus).
  • If you are changing billing plans multiple times during the same month, a processing charge of ¥1,100 (incl. tax) will be applied from the third time you change.

• About Kids Keitai Plan (for KY-41C)

  ● Kids Keitai 3 is available with ISP service. The ISP service provided to Customers (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") is subject to the following terms and conditions.

  2. (Conditions for Applying)
     

     a. This Service is available to subscribers of Kids Keitai 3.
     b. To use some of the Services, an application for use of the Services must be made in accordance with the separate Terms of Use set forth by the Company.
     c. Of the Services set forth in the preceding paragraph, (1) and (8) can be used with Kids Keitai 3 compatible devices (KY-41C). In addition, for the Services (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), and (9), Customers must prepare a PC, smartphone, or other devices capable of using the Internet browser, and log in with their d ACCOUNT from the browser connected to their Kids Keitai 3 subscription line.

     • The following conditions apply to (6) Cloud Service for Scheduling, etc. (Keitai Data Storage Service).

     ● The Service is not available for new subscribers to Kids Keitai 3.
     ● If Customers change their plan to Kids Keitai 3, they can use the service if the following conditions are met.

     • Customers must be using the Cloud Service for Scheduling, etc. before changing their plan.
     • It must not be an order in which data is not transferred, such as a name change or succession.
  3. (Usage Fees)
     

     Fees for using the Service are included in the monthly charge for Kids Keitai 3.
