Notice of Temporary Suspension of F905i Software Update


Thank you for using NTT DoCoMo Group (DoCoMo) services and products.

It has come to our attention that software updates for some subscribers have failed, with "Rewrite failed" displayed during the software update.
Until we find the cause of the error and ready a fixed version of the software, we will be suspending provision of the latest software for updating the F905i.
  If you have successfully updated your software on or after January 31, you will not be required to do anything.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause for F905i users. DoCoMo continues to strive to improve services, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation with this issue.

1. Resumption of Software Update


Announcement will be made on the DoCoMo website when the cause of the error is found and a fixed version of the software is ready.

2. Subscribers Who Suffered Failed Software Updates


We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you bring your phone to the repair counter of a DoCoMo Shop.

3. Request and Disclaimer


  Please understand that DoCoMo Shop repair counters are expected to be crowded immediately after this notice, and it may take some time for us to serve you.
  Depending on the condition of your mobile phone (damaged, exposed to water, or other cases), it may not be possible to service the phone, including making software updates.
